The Accelerated Access Scheme is aimed at those people who have sat and passed their A2 Restricted Licence test, and wish to have their A2 restriction removed before the end of their 2 year period.
The advantage of the Accelerated Access test is that no theory test is required as you would have already done this in order to pass your A2 Restricted Licence. Therefore, should you not pass your Accelerated Access motorcycle test, your existing A2 Restricted Licence remains completely unaffected. If you pass the Accelerated Access motorcycle test, your licence will then be instantly upgraded to an unrestricted full UK motorcycle licence, granting you the same benefits as if you had passed your Direct Access (DAS) motorcycle test.
Course's
At 1 Stop we offer our Accelerated Access courses over a range days to accommodate everyone. We understand that some people may wish to take the course on their own bikes, and in some cases, some people may require more training than others. Due to this, we offer courses designed to fit around you.
Our Accelerated Access course's run from Ilford, in East London, within easy access of other local area's such as Romford, Dagenham, Loughton as well as all other parts of Essex. We use an extensive training site which helps many of our pupils through the Module 1 part of their test, and is a key factor to our unique high first time pass rate.
The Test
The Accelerated Access motorcycle test can only be sat by those people who are over the age of 21, and have already sat and passed their A2 Restricted Licence test. The test must be sat on a bike with a power output of at least 46.6 bhp (25kw).
You will be required to complete both Module 1 and Module 2 in order to successfully pass your test. For more information about the test, and to find out what is involved, please click here.
