Bike Hire
Unlike many training schools, pupil's of 1 Stop Instruction are able to hire out our bikes to enable them to gain additional practice at their own leisure. We have have found that this tends to be a very popular option both when pupil's have just passed their CBT and have a few days before the beginning of their course training (A2 Licence or DAS), and also in between the Module 1 and Module 2 test dates (which tend to be at least 3 days apart). The option to hire a bike allows our pupils to keep in touch with the riding skills they have been taught (especially for those who do not have their own bike), and also, in many cases, familiarise yourself with the actual bike that you will be taking your test on!
As soon as the pupil has booked a place on a suitable training course the bike hire is made available to them. The pupil is then free to train to their hearts content the techniques learned from the 1 Stop Instruction team. This proves to a far more cost effective and relaxed manner in which to ‘fine tune’ the riding skills required for the practical test.
This valuable benefit can radically increase the chances of you passing your test first time, and, for some pupils, has been the determining factor in their test success.
Insurance is provided under our ‘fleet’ arrangement through Devitt Insurance, the market leader in Bike training school insurance. However, this insurance only provides third party cover and excludes theft or loss cover. Accordingly our pupils are encouraged to protect the bike against theft or loss whilst in their care. Additional security devices are available to the pupil to assist them.
Any pre hire damage is not the pupils liability and this is recorded on our hire form.
This hire scheme is exclusively for our training pupils and is not available to other school pupils or members of the public.
