1 Stop Community

It is said that ‘you never stop learning’  At 1 Stop we agree with this statement and that is why we are determined to help our pupils continue their learning curve.

Unlike other schools, we do not want to lose contact with our vast number of successful pupils.  We, as Instructors, are in a privileged position of being able to make a marked change in a persons life.  The skills we teach you are not only targeted to get you through your test………they are skills that, when applied as taught, will help you and others stay safe on our roads for the rest of your life.

Now we would like to help you keep improving those skills, and have some great fun as well.  We have earmarked a number of activities that we would like to introduce our pupils to including:

Bike ride out’s.  Meet at a venue and then spend time riding to another destination(s) with many stops along route!  Typical venues are Brighton, Ace Café, Lake District.  Any other destinations can be arranged dependent upon demand.  A perfect example of this is our ride out on the 9th June to support the ‘No to Bike Parking Fees campaign’.

Paintball days.  Always a favourite event!  Open to everyone it is so easy to see why bikers love paintball days!  Maybe something about living on the edge all day…Hmmm…sounds like how you feel riding your bike!

Dirt Bike Days. Nothing sorts out your traction control issues like a  dirtbike day! Yes you will get muddy…Yes you may fall off, and get back on!.....Yes you will have a smile on your face all day long and learn valuable skills that can be used in normal riding.

Track days. For those Rossi’s amongst you!  Track days combine invaluable cornering skills and you can really open your bike up, in a safe environment.  Everyone starts at novice stage and works their way up…at their own pace.

Tours. Invite your partner and lets get the early ferry to France and maybe onto Spain.  The perfect combination of riding and sightseeing. On a tour you can really gel with your bike and get to ride some roads that are breathtaking.  We are currently trying to arrange a long weekend tour to France.  Watch this space!

Safety Days.  All 1 Stop Instructors will be undertaking specialised first aid training to deal with motorcycling incidents.  We are opening these courses to our community.  Come and learn the skills that make that vital life saving difference!

So there you have it….some very early ideas of how we intend to keep in touch with our pupils.  We would welcome any ideas you may have that may be enjoyed by our community….just fire us an email and we’ll respond immediately!

No to bike parking fees

No To Bike Parking Fees Banner

We are extremely involved in the campaign supporting no to bike parking fees! We urge all fellow bikers to actively encourage this campaign. Consider this .....If Westminster council get away with it how long before the bike parking tax comes to YOUR borough? Help us stop this criminal tax now......... join us in the protest rides in London so we can act with all bikers to get the message across.......STOP THIS TAX NOW!

At the demoClick the link above so you can be kept aware of what is happening and when the next events are taking place. As pupils of 1 Stop you will be sent an email inviting you to join us at these events and you will have a fantastic day riding your bike with other like minded bikers. Bring your partner, that's what the pillion seat is for, so that they to can see biker power in action.

This isn't the first time that the Government have tried to steal money from bikers. Many years ago the dartford crossing required bikes to pay 40p each time they used it. One SundNo To Bike Parking Fees Banneray with thousands of bikes gridlocking the M25 soon stopped that! So here we are again, fighting for our cause and highlighting that bikes are the perfect solution to many of the the congestion and pollution concerns that people have. As a solution, we should be encouraged and not taxed.

Be part of our community and join us now! Your support is needed and welcomed.
